Zol arrived on Earth by way of ejection from the Sun, seeking the worthy to shower in gold. Taking the form of a man or a bird, he watches humans carefully, rewarding those pure of heart. Zol has been described by many as, "wait, why is he referred to as a Sun God if he makes gold? Well, I guess Gold God doesn't have the same ring to it."
